We are currently experimenting and tuning the printer to be able to deal with the high packing densities.
I know that high densities can, under certain circumstances, affect the quality of printed parts, but our goal was to find and move limits of the printer.
Therefore, we intentionally broke many common rules related to the part positioning in the build chamber and printed jobs with the average packing density exceeding 50%.
Frankly, it didn’t turn out well in the first run but after some targeted changes in the surface heating algo we are able to do so reliably, repeatably and with good print quality results which makes me happy.
