MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
Extension board that the Inova MK1 Printer uses to control (dim) halogen heater tubes. It has headers that fit Arduino Nano and screw connectors that should be wired to SSRs capable of random turn-on.
Note that typical SSRs are zero-cross, which means that the moment the SSR turns on/off is only when the switched AC voltage crosses 0V. Such SSRs are unusable for dimming and the mentioned random turn-on SSRs should be used instead.
Inova MK1 Printer expects that the Arduino Nano is flashed with our modified Klipper MCU Firmware that implements the dimming featuresΒ (freely available on our website).
FEATURES
- AC mains screw connector to connect the board to 230V/110V mains voltage. Neccessary to synchronize the SSRs to mains frequency and phase.
- Header for Arduino Nano (or clone)
- Screw connectors to connect at most 5 random turn-on SSRs. The board drives the SSRs with 5V.
- USB connection to the printer using USB connector on Arduino Nano
DIMENSIONS
- Width: 33mm
- Length: 72mm
