Hey everyone, we have released new version of SLS4All Compact with great new features and improvements!
|

|
|
|
|
Last time we wrote you that we figured out a way to significantly increase the speed of printing. We achieved a 20-25% decrease of scanning time per layer, depending on the parts complexity. The more complex the printed part, the greater the time savings.
|
|
But this is just a small piece of what is in the new version of the SLS4All Compact.
|
|
To install it, simply tap the bell icon at your printer screen and follow the instrucions. You will be up to date 2 minutes later.
|
|
|
|

We found the way how to automatically set the best parameters for your prints regardless the brand of your powder and idirectly also its age (number of re-uses).
|
|
We call it "Auto-Tuning"!
|
|
Since it is all about strict temperature control in the SLS world, Inova MK1 now automatically detects temperatures to be set for the printing process. It is done in the early stages of the print job and it reduces the number of possible print failures down to zero.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Everyone wants to get as precise prints as possible. Because it can be a bit tricky to achieve that, we added Shrinkage Calculator directly into the print profile setting.
|
|
|
But the list of the improvements is much longer:
|
- added Powder Tuning wizard (for experimenting with powders)
- added video-camera setup wizard (neccessary for auto-tuning)
- separated Print/Powder chamber heating - Print chamber has higher priority for heating
- improved bed preparation procedure with initial extra-thick layers to prevent tearing
- optimized remaining powder in powder chamber after printing
- improved Dry Printing procedure
- added Download Logs and Remote Assistance to UI
- various significant UI improvements
- improvements in VideoRecorder diagnostic app (see Instructions document for details)
